With nearly 1,800 parking spaces and affordable daily rates that include free parking for the first three hours, MidAmerica St. Louis Airport offers the most convenient and cost-effective parking option for travelers in the greater St. Louis area. The airport parking lot is located directly in front of the passenger terminal where check-in takes place, providing easy access for travelers who need short or long-term parking. The parking facilities at the airport include an open-air parking lot. MidAmerica St. Louis Airport does not have a parking garage, and valet parking is not available.

Automated Parking Procedures

The parking lot is controlled by automated parking equipment. No parking reservation is needed. Your ticket is dispensed upon entering the parking lot. Simply pay for parking prior to exit at one of the six self-service payment stations located inside the Airport Terminal with credit or debit card. Major credit or debit card payments also are accepted at one of the three exit lane’s payment stations. Payment instructions are posted on each payment station.

As of September 1, 2024, we no longer accept cash as a form of payment.

0-3 Hours FREE

3-6 Hours $8.00

6-24 Hours $9.00

Taxes not included in hourly or daily rates. Parking fees are calculated on a 24-hour basis from the time the ticket is issued. After 24 hours, the parking rates are calculated hourly until the fee reaches the daily maximum.

Picking up Passengers

Short-term parking in the parking lot for the first three hours is free, making it easy for drivers to drop off or pick up passengers. Please do not wait or park curbside: Federal regulations prohibit parking in front of the terminal building unless you are actively loading or unloading.

Cell Phone Lot

Visitors who are picking up passengers are also able to use the Airport’s Cell Phone Lot. Located on Airport Blvd. approximately ½ mile from the terminal, drivers can wait for their passengers to arrive free of charge. Once the passenger is ready, drivers can easily leave the Cell Phone Lot and pick up their passenger at the terminal, curbside. Drivers must remain with their vehicle while in the Cell Phone Lot and may not remain overnight.

Transportation

For those who choose not to self-park, MidAmerica St. Louis Airport and the St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) provide shuttle service between Shiloh-Scott AFB Metrolink and MidAmerica St. Louis Airport. MetroLink connects travelers to destinations around the St. Louis region, including downtown St. Louis and St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) in Missouri and several destinations in Illinois’ Metro East. Upon completion of the new MetroLink extension to MidAmerica St. Louis Airport, passengers will have a direct light rail connection from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport all the way to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Lambert Airport.

Car rentals are available through Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and travelers can also use ride-share services like Uber, Lyft and VanGo – St. Clair County Transit’s on-demand public transit service – to get where they need to go. For more information, visit the transportation section of our website.
