The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) operates the security checkpoint at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport. Ticketed passengers over the age of 18 will need to show valid identification in order to travel.
Travelers with disabilities, medical conditions, or other special circumstances that may require additional assistance during the security screening process are encouraged to contact TSA Passenger Support before traveling.

The MidAmerica St. Louis Airport has a separate security lane for those enrolled in TSA PreCheck. Passengers in the PreCheck program do not have to remove their shoes, laptops, liquids, belts, or light jackets during screening.
Beginning October 1, 2021, travelers will need a REAL ID driver’s license or other valid identification to fly within the United States.
